Two ways to try it.
One topic — making weekend plans with a friend — in the two formats I actually teach in: a live class, and the practice that follows it at home. Pick either; they practice the same six phrases in different conversations. The activities are in English; vocabulary cards include Russian translations.
Make a weekend plan together
What a lesson with me looks like: illustrated phrase cards with audio, a listening dialogue, then two role cards with different budgets and free times — and a negotiation that ends in one agreed plan.
Open the live class →Keep the conversation going
The homework that follows the class, and the one you can finish alone right now: recall the phrases, listen to a new invitation, record your own reply, then compare it with a model and try again.
Open the home practice →Which one? If you are on your own, start with the home practice — every part of it works solo. The live class is worth opening to see how a lesson is built, but its speaking task is a real negotiation between two people, so you would need someone with you to do it properly.
Adapted from my own lesson materials. The conversations and the people in them are invented — no real student records, transcripts or recordings. No account, nothing saved to a server.
